Ellos (Them), is the second iteration done with the use of a medical archive from the 60’s aiming towards the dissociation of images from its original source, giving them a new interpretation based on what they actually are, portraits. In this medical archive portraits were used as a means to cataloge conditions and characteristics of an individual, not the individual itself, that is why the use of cyanotype pursues the retrieval of a lost fragility native to the image itself.
